Alcova House Heritage Signage

The Historic Preservation Program at Arlington County, Virginia hired me for a 1-year, fulltime internship to research, write, design and promote local heritage conservation. One of my favorite projects involved doing all that for a historic marker at one of the county's oldest estates.

Jones Falls Mills Heritage Signage

I served for 6 months as Research and Communications Intern with the oldest preservation non-profit in the state, and one of the most well known in the country. My favorite project was writing a grant for innovate heritage tourism signage at several historic mills in Baltimore. I contributed writing and research for the signs. Our team won a Heritage Preservation Award from Baltimore Heritage.
